The inscription proclaims the sultan's imperial titles in traditional Ottoman formula. The field is fully occupied by the honorific titulature, with no additional decorative motifs. A continuous dotted border frames the entire design at the periphery, consistent with the obverse treatment and standard Ottoman sultani coinage convention of the late sixteenth century. |
