Reverse description Hammered gold flan entirely covered by a multi-line Arabic legend in thuluth script, presenting the sultan's honorific titulature proclaiming him lord of two lands and two seas. The inscription fills the field from edge to edge without border or decorative frame, consistent with standard Ottoman sultani reverse design of the late sixteenth century. The irregular planchet shape and slightly uneven strike are typical of the hand-hammered production technique employed at the Constantinople mint. No subsidiary devices or mint marks are present beyond those incorporated within the inscription itself.
