Opmerkingen

The 2003 series Federal Reserve Notes were the first to incorporate the redesigned palette-shifted color printing introduced as a counterfeit deterrent following years of concern over increasingly sophisticated inkjet and laser reproductions. South Carolina's Federal Reserve district is Atlanta (Sixth District), so notes "issued" under a South Carolina designation in catalog terms typically refer to the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond's district allocation — Series 2003 notes bearing the "E" prefix fall under Richmond, Virginia, which covers the Carolinas.
