Beschrijving voorzijde The obverse bears the provincial name HOLLANDIA impressed in incuse relief, arranged across four lines within the coin's field — a distinguishing characteristic of this pattern piece known as the 'Bezemstuiver.' The legend reads HOL / LAN / DIA with the date 1739 below, all lettered in a bold, upright Roman typeface. A small ornamental rosette or star device appears above the inscription, flanked by two pellets. The incuse (sunken) treatment of the lettering is the defining and anomalous feature of this pattern, contrasting with the raised lettering found on regular-issue stuivers of Holland. The plain field surrounding the inscription is unadorned.

Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse displays the same HOLLANDIA legend and date 1739 in mirror image, appearing as a transferred incuse impression resulting from the die striking process that produced this pattern piece. The lettering reads in reverse as a consequence of the incuse obverse die, with HOL / LAN / DIA and the date arranged in the same four-line format. A small star or rosette device with flanking pellets appears above the text, mirroring the obverse arrangement. The entire design is effectively a brockage-like or transfer impression, confirming the experimental nature of this piece. The field is otherwise plain and undecorated.
