| Beschrijving keerzijde | A plain cross pattée divides the field into four quarters, each containing three pellets arranged in a triangular pattern, following the English sterling prototype. The arms of the cross extend to a beaded inner circle, and the outer legend in uncial Latin characters reads between the beaded ring and the irregular coin edge. The overall design closely imitates the English long cross sterling type, adapted for Flemish comital coinage struck at the Aalst mint. |
