| Description du revers | A bold long cross extends to the edge of the coin, dividing the reverse into four quadrants, each containing three pellets arranged in a triangular pattern — a design typical of the sterling coinage widely imitated across the Lorraine region in the early 14th century. An inner beaded circle frames the cross and pellet groupings, while the Latin legend is distributed between the beaded circle and the irregular outer edge of the flan. The style closely follows English and French sterling prototypes of the period. |
