| 背面描述 | A large voided long cross occupies the full reverse field, its arms extending to the inner legend, with each terminal tipped with a pellet or ball ornament. The four quarters created by the cross each contain an abbreviated letter of the mint name TRIT (for Traiectum, i.e. Maastricht), reading around the angles in a manner standard for Low Countries sterlings of this period. A circular peripheral legend in uncial Latin script encircles the entire design, separated by a beaded border. The style closely follows the English sterling prototype introduced under Edward I, adapted here for Brabantine ducal coinage. |
