Obverse description Highly stylised, disjointed horse galloping to the right, rendered in a fragmented abstract Celtic manner characteristic of Belgic coinage. Above the horse, a series of crescents arranged in an arc; below, a pellet accompanied by a crescent symbol. The design elements are scattered across the flan in a dynamic, non-naturalistic composition derived ultimately from the Macedonian stater prototype but thoroughly transformed by Belgic artistic convention. The field is otherwise plain, with no legend or inscription.

Reverse description Plain, deeply convex and uninscribed surface, characteristic of the uniface Ambiani stater series. The reverse presents a smooth, bowl-shaped golden flan with no struck design, legend, or device of any kind, produced by the single-die casting technique used by the Ambiani tribe. The surface bears the natural flow lines and minor irregularities consistent with hand-casting, confirming the primitive production method of this early Belgic issue.
