Obverse description Forepart of a boar advancing to the left, rendered in archaic style with boldly modeled musculature and a prominent bristled ridge along the neck and shoulder. The eye is rendered as a raised pellet, and the snout and forelegs are clearly articulated. The flan is irregular and the relief is high, consistent with early Lycian dynastic coinage of the late Archaic period.
