| Obverse description | Facing lion scalp rendered in high relief, depicted frontally with wide-set eyes, open jaws revealing the upper palate, and a symmetrically stylized mane radiating outward from the central mask. The powerful musculature of the face and the boldly modeled brow ridges are characteristic of the Lycian artistic tradition of the late 5th to early 4th century BC. The design fills the flan with considerable sculptural depth, set within a plain field bounded by a beaded border. |

| Reverse description | A triskeles motif occupies the central field within a dotted border enclosed by an incuse square or circle, its three running legs radiating from a common center in dynamic rotational arrangement. The Lycian dynastic inscription TRBBÊNEME runs around the periphery in the Lycian alphabetic script, with a small Lycian letter V (corresponding to the Lycian character 'ẽ' or equivalent) placed within one of the intervening sections between the legs. The incuse technique results in a sunken reverse field characteristic of early Anatolian silver coinage. |
