Reverse description Nude Herakles standing to the left in full figure, actively engaged in erecting a military trophy composed of captured armour and weaponry. His muscular form is rendered in vigorous high relief, consistent with the heroic iconographic tradition associated with the city's eponymous patron deity. His club rests against the trophy at the right, reinforcing his identity. The two-line Greek magistrate legend ΤΙΜΟΘΕΟΥ ΔΙΟΝΥΣΙΟΥ is disposed in the field to either side of the figure, reading 'of Timotheos and Dionysios', identifying the issuing magistrates responsible for this emission.
