| Reverse description | Standing figure of Nike (Victory) facing left, depicted in a flowing garment, holding a wreath raised in the right hand and a palm branch in the left. The figure stands above a sword or short weapon lying horizontally at her feet. To the left of the figure, within the inner dotted border, the Greek monogram ΠΑΡ appears above the date letters ΒΝ (numeral 52 in the Bosporan era, corresponding to regnal year 28). The entire design is enclosed within a prominent beaded border. The composition closely follows the standard reverse type of Bosporan electrum and gold staters of the early Imperial period. |
