| Beschrijving voorzijde | Confronting foreparts of a lion and a bull facing one another in profile, their heads meeting at center. The lion, depicted to the right, displays a boldly modeled mane rendered in parallel striations, with a prominent eye and open jaws. The bull, facing left, is rendered with similar vigor, its musculature suggested in low relief against the plain field. The two animals are shown in a heraldic juxtaposition characteristic of Lydian royal coinage, occupying the full width of the irregularly shaped flan. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Two deeply struck square incuse punches of unequal size set side by side, their interiors showing rough, striated surfaces resulting from the punch mechanism. The larger punch occupies the left portion of the reverse field, the smaller the right, both sunk to considerable depth with sharply defined raised borders. The punches are separated by a narrow ridge and together span most of the flan, characteristic of early Lydian hammered coinage technique. No inscription or additional design element is present. |
