The scene is rendered in high relief with anatomically detailed musculature, characteristic of the finest Classical Greek die engraving. The magistrate's name legend [EΠI] THΛEMA[ΞO] appears vertically divided in the left and right fields, identifying the eponymous magistrate Telemachos. A ground line runs beneath the figures. |
