| Obverse description | Central design composed of a horizontal rectangular panel containing the Latin legend TASCIO in raised relief, flanked above and below by rows of annulets, some with internal pellets or wheel motifs. The overall layout is geometric and highly stylised in the late Celtic tradition, with the inscription tablet forming the dominant compositional element. Pellet-in-ring ornaments and small pellets fill the surrounding field, creating a structured, symmetrical arrangement characteristic of Cantian coinage of the early first century AD. |
