背面描述	Laureate and draped bust of the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius facing right, rendered in a style reflecting Roman imperial portraiture as interpreted by Bosporan die cutters. The emperor's bust is shown with paludamentum. In the lower left field appears the Greek date letters ΔΟΥ denoting regnal year 474 of the Bosporan era (corresponding to 178 AD). A beaded border frames the design, and a star or spear symbol appears to the right of the bust depending on the die variety.
