Reverse description Bare laureate head of the Roman Emperor Nerva facing right, rendered in a schematic provincial style typical of Bosporan coinage. The portrait shows the emperor's characteristic aged features, with the laurel wreath rendered in low relief. The Bosporan regnal year monogram ΓϘΤ (393 of the Pontic Era, corresponding to 97 AD) appears in the lower exergual area beneath the bust, serving as the sole legend on this face.
