Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of King Rheskouporis V facing right, rendered in the late Bosporan style with elongated features and flowing drapery folds. A trident symbol appears in the left field before the bust, serving as a dynastic emblem. The peripheral legend in Greek characters reads ΒΑCΙΛΕΩC ΡΗCΚΟΥΠΟΡΙC, identifying the ruler by his royal title. The die work is characteristic of the declining artistic standards of the late Bosporan mint, with broad, flat relief. The flan is irregular in shape, typical of hammered copper coinage of this period.
