| Описание аверса | Cruciform wreath design occupying the central field, composed of four stylized floral quadrants. A floral sceptre motif is prominently displayed at centre, flanked symmetrically by two wing-form elements. In the lower angles of the cruciform, abstracted facial features — including a concealed eyebrow-face — are rendered in typical Celtic artistic convention, accompanied by harp-shaped curvilinear cloak lines. The overall composition reflects the characteristically abstract and schematized decorative vocabulary of Late Iron Age British coinage. |

An S-shaped seahorse motif is positioned above the horse in the field. Below the horse, a ringed pellet and a crescent device serve as subsidiary symbols. Two additional seahorse motifs appear in the field before the horse. The composition is typical of the regionally distinctive Atrebatic coinage tradition, with all design elements arranged in a loosely organized but iconographically consistent manner across the flan. |

ABC 524 is attributed to the Atrebates-Regni tribal zone of what is now West Sussex — Climping being a findspot cluster rather than a mint designation in any modern sense. These issues predate the Caesarian invasions of 55 and 54 BC, placing their production in a southern British political sphere already conducting cross-Channel trade and absorbing continental Gaulish coinage conventions. The prototype is ultimately the gold stater of Philip II of Macedon, degraded through generations of copying as it moved northwest across Gaul.
The Climping group is defined by findspot archaeology as much as by typology. Most examples have surfaced through metal detecting in the coastal Sussex parishes.
