Beschrijving keerzijde	A central incuse square frames an ornate grapevine laden with clusters of grapes and curling tendrils, the vine rising from a common root and spreading symmetrically — a device emblematic of Maroneia's renowned wine-producing region. The magistrate's name legend ΕΠΙ ΠΟΛΥΝΙΚΟΥ (meaning 'under Polynikos') is disposed around the incuse square in Greek letters, with individual letter groups distributed at the corners and sides of the frame. The incuse technique produces a sunken background for the vine motif, creating a striking contrast between the raised botanical elements and the recessed field. The execution is confident and typical of the artistic conventions of Thracian civic coinage of the mid-fourth century BC.
