| Beschrijving voorzijde | Helmeted head of Athena in right profile, rendered in fine high relief with elegantly modelled facial features and flowing locks of hair visible beneath the visor. The goddess wears a Corinthian helmet adorned with a prominent crested plume sweeping dramatically to the rear, with a serpent coil visible at the bowl. A bead necklace is discernible at the neck. The workmanship reflects the refined Macedonian die-engraving tradition of the late 4th century BC. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Nike, the winged goddess of victory, standing in left profile with wings partially spread. She extends her right hand forward to present a wreath, while her left hand holds a stylis (naval sceptre). In the left field, a caduceus appears as a mint control symbol; below the wing, a monogram and the letter Σ serve as additional control marks. The reverse legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs in the field, attributing the issue to Alexander the Great in accordance with the posthumous coinage convention maintained under Philip III. |
