| Obverse description | Helmeted head of Athena in right profile, wearing a crested Corinthian helmet pushed back on the head, adorned with a coiled serpent on the bowl and a decorative palmette at the nape. The goddess's hair falls in loose, wavy locks beneath the helmet, framing a finely modeled face with a straight nose and slightly parted lips. The cheek-pieces of the helmet are raised, fully exposing the face. The portrait is rendered in high relief in the characteristic Macedonian die-engraving style of the late 4th century BC. |

| Reverse description | Nike, the winged goddess of victory, standing in three-quarter view facing left, her wings spread behind her. She extends her right hand to offer a wreath and holds a stylis (ship's steering oar) in her left hand, referencing naval supremacy. Beneath her right wing in the lower field appears a grain ear, and a labrys (double-headed axe) is placed in the right field — both serving as mint control symbols identifying the Miletus issue. The inscription ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field, invoking the royal authority of Alexander the Great under whose name this coinage was struck. |
