Obverse description Helmeted head of Athena facing right, wearing a Corinthian helmet with a prominent crest and coiled serpent on the bowl, rendered in fine high-relief engraving characteristic of the Macedonian royal mint tradition. The goddess's flowing hair cascades in wavy locks beneath the helmet's cheekpiece and neckguard, framing a classically idealized profile with delicate facial features. A small earring is visible at the ear. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, with no surrounding legend, the entire field dominated by the bold effigy.
