背面描述	A charioteer, clad in a long chiton, stands erect in a racing biga (two-horse chariot) driven to the right, holding the kentron (goad) in his raised right hand and the reins in his left. A bee symbol appears below the horses in the lower field, serving as a mint control mark. The ethnic legend ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ is inscribed in the exergue below the ground line, denoting the issuing authority of Philip. The design follows the established Macedonian stater type introduced under Philip II and continued under Philip III Arrhidaeus at the Amphipolis mint.
