| Obverse description | Helmeted head of Athena facing right in high relief, wearing a Corinthian helmet adorned with a prominent crest and a serpent coil decorating the bowl. The goddess's facial features are rendered with fine Hellenistic artistry, with a strong profile, almond-shaped eye, and delicate lips. Locks of wavy hair escape from beneath the helmet and fall to the neck. The field is plain, with no legend or border. |

| Reverse description | Nike, the winged goddess of Victory, stands facing left in flowing draped garments, her large feathered wings spread prominently behind her. She extends her right hand forward holding a wreath, while her left hand holds a stylis (naval standard). The legend ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ runs vertically along the right field. To the lower left appears a star-in-wreath control symbol, and below Nike's feet a caduceus is visible as a secondary control mark. The composition follows the standard Philippic stater reverse type continued under Philip III Arrhidaeus. |
