Obverse description Diademed head of Ptolemy I Soter facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic portrait tradition with carefully detailed curling hair bound by a royal diadem. The portrait displays strong, idealized facial features with a prominent brow and well-defined jaw, characteristic of early Ptolemaic royal iconography. The neck is bare and the bust truncated at the shoulder. A dotted border encircles the coin's periphery, framing the portrait within the irregularly shaped flan.
