| Reverse description | A stag grazing to the left occupies the central field, rendered with naturalistic detail. To the upper left, a star and crescent symbol — a dynastic emblem of the Pontic kingdom — appears prominently in the field. Above the monogram to the right, the regnal year Γ (year 3, corresponding to 86 BC) is inscribed. An additional control monogram appears below the stag. The entire design is enclosed within a Dionysiac ivy wreath, the berried branches forming a decorative border around the reverse field. The Greek royal legend BAΣIΛEΩΣ MIΘPAΔATOY EYΠATOPOΣ is disposed around the design. |
