Obverse description Diademed head of Mithridates VI Eupator facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic royal portrait tradition with idealized, youthful features and flowing, tousled hair swept back from the forehead in an Alexandrine manner. The diadem is tied at the nape of the neck with trailing ends visible behind the head. The portrait is executed in high relief with fine engraving, conveying a dynamic, heroic quality characteristic of late Hellenistic royal coinage.

Reverse description A stag grazing left, rendered in fine Hellenistic style, occupying the central field. To the upper left, a star-in-crescent symbol — the dynastic badge of the Pontic royal house — is prominently placed. To the right, the regnal year ΔIΣ appears above a mint monogram, with the month letter A inscribed in the exergue. The entire design is enclosed within a Dionysiac wreath of ivy leaves and berries, and the three-line royal legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΜΙΘΡΑΔΑΤΟΥ / ΕΥΠΑΤΟΡΟΣ runs along the right field.
