| Reverse description | A stag grazing to the left occupies the central field, rendered with naturalistic detail. To the upper left, a star-in-crescent symbol — an emblematic device of the Pontic royal house — is prominently placed. To the right of the stag, the regnal date Δ (year 4 of the Pontic era, corresponding to 85 BC) appears above the civic monogram of Pergamon. The entire design is enclosed within a Dionysiac wreath composed of ivy leaves and clusters of fruit. The royal legend BAΣIΛEΩΣ MIΘPAΔATOY EYΠATOPOΣ runs within or around the wreath. |
