Obverse description Diademed head of the deified Alexander III facing right, wearing a diadem with flowing ends and adorned with the horn of Ammon curling behind the ear, evoking divine Macedonian iconography. The hair is rendered in rich, voluminous curls cascading around the head, executed in the refined Hellenistic style characteristic of late Lysimachean-type coinage. The portrait presents a youthful, idealized effigy with finely modeled facial features. No legend appears on the obverse, the entire field being occupied by the royal portrait.
