She extends her right arm forward to crown a trophy or mast with a wreath, while her left hand holds a ship's stylis or standard. To the left, the vertical legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ and below a monogram; to the right, the vertical legend ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ; a control mark K appears to the lower right of the central figure. The composition follows the Alexandrine Nike type, adapted for the coinage of Lysimachos. |
