Beschrijving voorzijde Diademed head of the deified Alexander the Great facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with the distinctive curling locks of hair arranged across the forehead and temples. The small but clearly articulated horn of Ammon curls just above and behind the ear, symbolizing Alexander's divine lineage as son of Zeus-Ammon. The diadem, tied at the nape of the neck, is finely detailed, and the portrait displays the idealized yet individualized features characteristic of Lysimachean coinage. The flan is slightly irregular, as typical of hammered gold staters of the period.

Beschrijving keerzijde Athena Nikephoros seated left upon a throne, her right hand extending forward to hold a small winged Nike, while her left arm rests upon a large round shield propped at her side, with a long transverse spear held diagonally in her left hand. The reverse legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ runs to the right of the figure, identifying the issuing authority as King Lysimachos. An uncertain monogram appears in the left field, serving as a mint or magistrate control mark. The composition closely follows the canonical Lysimachean reverse type established during the king's lifetime and continued posthumously by Byzantion and other cities.
