| Obverse description | Bull standing to left in profile upon a dotted ground line, rendered in fine archaic relief with musculature carefully articulated. The animal is depicted with its head turned slightly forward, dewlap and neck folds incised with precision. The field is plain and unlettered, the flan broad and slightly oval. The overall style is characteristic of the early Lycian dynastic coinage of the fifth century BC. |
