| Beschrijving keerzijde | Reverse field displays a highly stylized and debased figural design in the degenerate post-Hunnic style typical of tenth-century Kashmir copper coinage. The central motif appears to be a schematized deity or royal figure, rendered with crude, abstracted forms characteristic of this late series. Nagari inscription 'Gupta' is present in the field, completing the royal name Kshemagupta in conjunction with the obverse legend. The hammered fabric produces an irregular, slightly concave flan with low relief throughout. |
