Obverse description Facing Boeotian shield rendered in high relief at center, its distinctive cutout notches visible on either side of the convex boss, set within a plain linear border. The shield's characteristic shape — with two symmetrical lateral incisions — is crisply struck and fills nearly the entire flan, exemplifying the bold, iconic coinage of Boeotia. The field surrounding the shield is smooth and unlettered.

Reverse description A finely detailed amphora with double scroll handles occupies the center of the concave incuse field, its body tapering to a narrow foot and its mouth flanked by elegantly rendered volute handles. The magistrate's abbreviated name KA to the left and ΛI to the right of the vessel divide the legend across the field. The entire design is set within a concave circular depression characteristic of Boeotian stater coinage of this period, with the incuse technique lending depth and relief to the composition.
