The inscription ΚΥΡΑΝΑΙΩΝ appears in the lower exergual area beneath the horses. The composition fills the flan with remarkable sculptural depth, characteristic of late Classical Kyrenaean die engraving. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Zeus Ammon or Zeus seated in three-quarter view to the right upon a throne, his muscular torso bare, draped from the waist, with right arm raised holding a sceptre or thunderbolt. An eagle stands to the right in the field, facing left. The vertical legend ΙΑΣΟΝΟΣ appears to the left of the enthroned figure, identifying the magistrate Jason. The style is consistent with high-quality Kyrenaean goldsmith work of the late 4th century BC. |
