| 正面描述 | Diademed head of the deified Alexander the Great facing right, portrayed with the horn of Ammon curling behind his ear, a divine attribute linking him to Zeus-Ammon. The effigy is rendered in fine Hellenistic style with elaborately curled hair swept back from the forehead, the diadem tied at the nape of the neck with visible fillet ends. The portrait conveys idealized heroic features with a strong jaw and sensitively modeled facial planes characteristic of the finest posthumous Lysimachan coinage. The field is plain, with no legend on the obverse. |

| 背面描述 | Athena Nikephoros seated left on a throne, wearing a crested helmet and draped in a chiton and himation, her left arm resting on a large round shield decorated with a gorgoneion. In her outstretched right hand she holds a Nike figure crowning the royal name. A long spear rests diagonally behind her. The vertical legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ is divided to either side of the enthroned figure, reading right to left on the right and left to right on the left field. A monogram or mint control mark appears in the left field below the extended arm, consistent with Byzantion issues of this period. |
