| Descripción del anverso | Right-facing helmeted head of Athena in three-quarter relief, wearing a Corinthian helmet pushed back on the head and adorned with a coiled serpent on the bowl and a decorative crest. The goddess's hair flows in loose curls beneath the helmet rim, and her facial features are rendered with fine naturalistic detail characteristic of early Hellenistic die-cutting. The neck is bare and the bust truncated, set within a broad, plain field typical of the Macedonian gold stater series. No legend appears on the obverse. |

| Descripción del reverso | Nike, the winged goddess of victory, stands facing left in full figure, her large feathered wings spread upward and outward behind her. She holds a wreath extended in her right hand and a stylis (naval sceptre) in her left, with a globule visible at her feet. The legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs to the right along the reverse field, with the control mark TI to the left beneath the wing, identifying this issue to the Sardes mint under the posthumous coinage of Alexander III. The style and control marks correspond to Price 2623. |
