Reverse description Nike, the goddess of victory, stands in three-quarter view facing left, her large, spread wings prominently displayed behind her. She extends her left hand forward, holding a wreath, while her right arm is drawn back; her draped garments fall in fine folds to her feet. A naval standard (stylis) appears to the right of the figure, and a thunderbolt is visible in the lower field. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs vertically along the right field, reading downward, identifying the coin as issued in the name of Alexander.
