| Descrizione del dritto | Helmeted head of Athena facing right, rendered in high relief with fine engraving characteristic of the Alexandrine coinage tradition. The goddess wears a Corinthian helmet pushed back on her head, its bowl adorned with a prominent crest and a decorative serpent coiling along the cheekpiece. Her hair falls in carefully rendered wavy locks beneath the helmet's rim, and her facial features — almond eye, aquiline nose, and defined lips — display a dignified, idealized profile. The neck is adorned with a beaded necklace, visible at the truncation. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, with no visible field legend on the obverse. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Nike, the goddess of victory, depicted standing to the left in a graceful contrapposto pose, wearing a long belted chiton with finely engraved drapery folds. Her extended right hand proffers a wreath toward the viewer, while her left arm cradles a stylis (ship's sternpost ornament), alluding to naval victory. Large, spread wings frame the figure on either side. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ occupies the right field, reading downward. Two monograms appear in the left field and below the left wing, serving as mint control marks associated with the Callatis mint. |
