| Obverse description | Helmeted head of Athena facing right, rendered in high relief with fine engraving characteristic of the Alexandrine coinage tradition. The goddess wears a Corinthian helmet pushed back on her head, its bowl adorned with a prominent crest and a decorative serpent coiling along the cheekpiece. Her hair falls in carefully rendered wavy locks beneath the helmet's rim, and her facial features — almond eye, aquiline nose, and defined lips — display a dignified, idealized profile. The neck is adorned with a beaded necklace, visible at the truncation. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, with no visible field legend on the obverse. |
