The goddess wears a Corinthian helmet pushed back on her head, adorned with a prominent crested plume; flowing locks of hair cascade from beneath the helmet along the neck. The facial features are finely modelled with a well-defined jaw and slightly parted lips, conveying a youthful and idealized portrait. The coin's irregular flan, typical of hammered coinage of this period, frames the design without a border or legend. |

She extends her right hand forward to present a wreath, while her left hand holds a stylis (ship's steering oar), an attribute referencing naval victory. In the left field, a monogram appears above a pentagram, and at the feet of Nike a serpent is depicted, serving as a mint control symbol. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field, identifying the coin as issued in the name of Alexander. |
