Obverse description Helmeted head of Athena in right profile, wearing a Corinthian helmet adorned with a coiled serpent on the bowl and a flowing horsehair crest. The goddess's hair falls in stylized waves below the helmet rim, framing a finely modelled face with a prominent nose and slightly parted lips. The neck is rendered with careful anatomical detail, and the cheek-guard of the helmet is raised to reveal the full profile. The composition fills the flan with characteristic Macedonian die-engraving quality, with no legend on the obverse.
