| Obverse description | Helmeted head of Athena facing right, wearing a Corinthian helmet adorned with a prominent crest and decorated cheek-guards pushed back. The goddess's fine facial features are rendered in high relief in the Hellenistic style, with flowing locks of hair visible beneath the helmet's rim.
