Reverse description Nike, the goddess of victory, stands facing left in a graceful, elongated pose, holding a wreath in her extended right hand and a stylis (naval scepter or ship's steering oar) in her left hand. The legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs to the right of the figure. In the left field, a star appears above the city ethnic ΣΙ, while two control monograms are placed below the left wing and below the right wing respectively, identifying this issue as a posthumous Sinopean emission struck in the name of Alexander III.
