Obverse description Helmeted head of Athena facing right, portrayed in fine high relief with strong Hellenistic artistic sensibility. The goddess wears a Corinthian helmet pushed back on her head, featuring a prominent upright crest and elaborately rendered plume. Her hair flows in thick, carefully incised locks beneath the helmet bowl, cascading onto her neck, while a beaded necklace is visible at her throat. The facial features are rendered with refined precision, conveying a serene yet authoritative divine character. The flan is slightly irregular, as is typical of hammered gold coinage of the period.
