The inscription ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ appears in the right field, reading downward in Greek characters, identifying the issue as struck in the name of Alexander. A bunch of grapes on a stalk occupies the left field as a mint control symbol, aiding attribution to a specific workshop within the posthumous series. |
