Reverse description Nike, the goddess of victory, stands in three-quarter pose facing left, her large spread wings framing her figure. In her extended right hand she holds a victor's wreath, while her left hand grasps a stylis (ship's stern ornament). The legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ appears in the field, with the control letters ΝΙΚΟΔ positioned between Nike's body and her wing, and ΚΟ below the wing. A race torch appears to the left of the figure. The reverse exhibits the standard Alexandrine type with fine engraving characteristic of a posthumous eastern mint issue.
