Obverse description Highly stylised abstract design in the Celtic tradition, dominated by a pattern of multiple crescents arranged across the field. The crescents vary in size and orientation, creating a dynamic, rhythmic composition typical of late Icenian coinage. Scattered pellets and circular pellet groups fill the interstices between the crescents, adding decorative texture. The overall design derives ultimately from the degraded wreath of earlier Gallo-Belgic prototypes, now fully transformed into an abstract curvilinear arrangement. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, as characteristic of hammered Iron Age coinage.

Reverse description A stylised horse moving to the right, rendered in the abstract Celtic manner with elongated body, curvilinear limbs, and a pronounced arching neck. Above the horse, a partial sunwheel or pellet-and-ring motif occupies the upper field, while scattered pellets and decorative ornaments surround the figure. Below the horse, the retrograde or abbreviated inscription ANTED is disposed in the lower field, referencing the Icenian ruler Antedios. The composition is characteristic of the Icenian 'Pattern Horse' series, combining naturalistic inspiration with highly stylised Celtic artistic execution on an irregularly shaped hammered flan.
