The vine motif, emblematic of Maroneia's renowned wine production, is rendered with considerable detail, showing multiple bunches of grapes hanging from the central vine. Above the linear square, along the upper border, appears the first part of the magistrate's name in Greek characters, while the remainder of the inscription continues below, identifying the issuing authority.
